Irena is a Ljubljana-based illustrator, she transforms imaginative concepts into captivating visuals through her curious illustrations and designs. Her work seamlessly blends whimsical elements with thoughtful, stimulating concepts, often employing vibrant colours and expressive line work to create visually compelling narratives. After studying visual communications and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts & Design in Ljubljana, she continues to practice her craft and pursues the narrative and aspiration in graphic novels, comics, and the art of drawing. Driven by a passion for storytelling, Irena's work explores the depths of imagination and emotion.
Creative work
Her work spans a diverse range of projects, including book and editorial illustration, comics and graphic novels, album artwork, game art, branding and design. This versatility highlights her artistic prowess and interdisciplinary approach, reflecting the evolving nature of visual storytelling in contemporary media.
